After working our way down the scree of Indian Pass, then the hike took us down broad granite shelves above the North Fork of the Bull Lake Ck, where we spotted a black bear dining in a meadow below us. Exhausted and still searching for a safe creek crossing, we camped beside the river at 7:30 pm. Day 6 began with an easy creek crossing at a wide shallow riffle and ended with a thunderstorm at a 10700' tarn. Got the tents up just in time.
