Charles and Mike intended a shorter trip, and on Day 4 Jim and I left them, and left the established trails. On Day 5 we crossed "Indian Pass", 11620', snow-filled on the north side, and New Zealand style steep on the south side. The view includes the highest peaks in the range with their glaciers and snow.
